Ce6 eyedrop application and testing photos

Here are a couple of photos from the Ce6 application that I was mentioning in the last post.

This is me getting the speculum put into my eye so that I don’t blink the drops out before they absorb.

Here is Jeffrey applying the drops. We wanted it to be very precise, so we used a micropipette instead of an eyedropper.

This is me with protective lenses in my eyes to block out some of the light. As the solution starts to work, the light intensity would increase over the course of 2 hours. I ended up putting sunglasses on soon as well.

Grindfest Zero! Success!

We had a private alpha testing of a Grinder get together last week. We called it Grindfest Zero and basically we just wanted to see what happens when a bunch of home surgery enthusiasts and diy biohackers all met up for the first time.
People were pretty excited and came from all over the world! Right?! Mind blown.

There were about a half dozen new RFIDs implanted and that many again magnets installed. We jammed out on a couple of new projects that everyone got excited about and then at night we were testing out Rich Lee’s human taser device. Massive crowd electrification!

A New Year, A Month Late

I know what you are thinking.
Where are these guys? What have they been doing? Did the get lost in the hills and get eaten by coyotes?

Things have been getting heavy duty down here at Casa des Masses. The lab is up, the greenhouse has an aquaponics system and we’re beating off documentarians with sticks.
Almost complete in the lab is a new room. Jeffrey has been sealing the cracks and coating the walls of our own private medical suite. Mostly it will be used for biofeedback testing and the like, but we have our fair share of body mod tools for when the mood strikes us.

The New Grind (article for transhumanity.net)

The nice folks over at transhumanity.net allowed me to write an opinion piece for their blog.

You can read it here: The New Grind

Have a look and let me know what you think in the comments. They’re cool group of people over there so the conversations can get quite interesting.
